The axolotl is one of the most unique characters of the aquatic world. Originating from the lakes and canals of Mexico, the axolotl belongs to the salamander family and, unlike many other amphibians, spends its entire life in water. Its most recognizable feature is the feathery external gills located on the sides of its head.
Papo's axolotl figure accurately and detailedly conveys the special appearance of this rare animal. The figure is hand-painted, and attention has been paid to the animal's body structure, pose, and characteristic features during its creation. A cool addition to both playtime and an animal collection.
