In the walled courtyards of Jaipur, the afternoon sun makes the terracotta walls glow. There, artisans have embroidered gardens onto fabrics for generations, as if to carry spring with them through all seasons. 🌸✨
The Marigold Bloom is born from the same idea. Fuchsia pink cotton fabric becomes a hand-embroidered flower garden, where rust-orange marigolds unfurl in warm shades of ochre and burnt sienna. Alongside them bloom deep indigo flowers, moss-green leaves, and light blue winding stems. Each blossom is built stitch by stitch until the embroidery rises almost lifelike from the fabric surface.
The high mandarin collar and the jacket's hem are framed with the same handmade chain stitch embroidery and finished with a delicate dark blue wave pattern. A contrasting striped lining peeking from the hem adds another small unexpected detail.
This is one of those jackets you just want to look at for a bit before putting it on. And then touch it. And then put it on anyway. 💗
